We had the most incredible time on our safari trip! Sandra was wonderful to work with, presented us with a variety of options and was incredibly responsive. We had many specific requests and booked the trip last minute, and Sandra helped find us first class accommodation that met all of our criteria. Highly recommend working with this company.

We communicated with 5 different operators and chose Traipsing because of Sandra’s quick responses and her interest in the purpose of our trip (celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary!). She helped us book a 5 day safari at Kusudalweni Lodge. There were many choices, but she helped us hone in on what we really wanted. The safaris we went on every day were phenomenal! There was a variety of activities to chose from including the Blyde River Canyon boat tour, Moholoholo Rehab Center and bush walks along with game drives in Kruger and in Manyaleti Private Reserve. Everything we did was awe-inspiring; we saw the Big 5 within the first 3 hours AND enjoyed the bush walk that ended up being a private birding adventure! Kudos to Sandra for arranging a great tour. We recommend Traipsing Africa’s Safaris and Tours!

We booked a Safari tour through Traipsing and the experience was excellent. We dealt with Sandra who was knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. We ended up choosing Safari Plains and enjoyed the most amazing luxury safari experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Traipsing Africa.

Sandra is really kind, professional and super efficient. We communicated a lot through whatsapp (faster and easier compared to emails) she was always available to give us suggestions or different options in order to give a really tailored made experience. She organized for us 4 days in Kapama Souther Camp and everything was absolutely perfect. I really suggest to go with this company.

Everything worked perfectly from pick up to final drop off!!! Clifftop Lodge And Lush Lodge offered absolute 5 star luxury personal experience. The twice daily game drives were sooo up close and personal – our Rangerruan at Lush was incredibly knowledgable with amazing sightings and tracking! William at Clifftop was incredible when faced with elephant in musth! Shame we can’t add pictures to the review!!!!!

We booked short notice after seeing one of the offers advertised. Everything went according to plan and we had a great breakaway on safari.

I was recommended by a friend to use Sandra at Traipsing Africa for booking a 7 day holiday in South Africa with the family. Cape Town has always been a bucket list item and we were thinking we cannot go to South Africa and not do a safari. Sandra spent a load of time with me via skype and whatsapp discussing our plans, advising but most of all listening to what we had to say. The offer of 24 hour availability while travelling in South Africa (we have 3 children) was the bonus. I am looking forward to our holiday in June next year and will definitely recommend Traipsing Africa.

I have always wanted to go to Africa and to experience the culture, wildlife and see the sights. We arrived in Johannesburg and flew to Port Elizabeth for our Safari. Sandra made sure that our trip went as smoothly as possible, like organizing an usher to guide us through Johannesburg airport. The safari itself was fantastic! Spending a couple of nights in the bush and hearing all the animal noises was a thrilling experience. We were carefully guided between a herd of elephants and we also spent an hour or so all alone with a pride of lions. We embarked on our Garden Route & Route 62 road trip to Cape Town and the scenery was spectacular. Sandra advised us of all the “do’s & don’ts” and we felt safe and secure the whole trip through. She also advised us of all the main attractions, as well as a few that only the locals frequent. Cape Town was amazing, and we went on a wine tour in Franschhoek, drove down to Cape Point and went up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. We also managed to squeeze in a morning of shopping in the V&A Waterfront. The accommodation that was booked for us was both reasonably priced and a very good quality. We will certainly be using Traipsing Africa on our next African vacation.
