Booked a 3 night safari to Umkumbe bush lodge, Sabi sands, outer Kruger via Traipsing Africa. Easy to book, able to change dates and traveller numbers. We felt the trip was great value for money. Transferring funds was also done with a minimum of fuss (always a fraught experience when transferring money overseas). We loved our stay at Umkumbe Bush Lodge.

Trip also included transfers there and back with Just Transfers. Again an easy and smooth transaction.

We were very lucky to deal with Sandra Nicol at Traipsing. She gave us a detailed list of available lodges and was very knowledgeable with her recommendations. When our initial trip was postponed due to covid Sandra was amazing in securing the booking at Tau Lodge at the original price and rearranging for August 22.

Sandra provides a Whattsapp number and quickly became our go to person in all elements of our holiday planning. She fielded questions on everything from weather to currency, air travel, restaurants and activities and much more. I was amazed that she would reply within minutes at any time of day or evening, including weekends. She clearly has a personal satisfaction in providing top class customer service and went way above what we reasonably expected from a tour operator. She was more like a personal concierge, and this was invaluable as we planned our own itinery (apart from safari) and it’s always great to get the inside track from a local on the best things to do in an area.

We ended up booking car hire and several excursions through Traipsing, which simplified matters for us and secured cheaper rates than we could have got ourselves.

The quality and service at the safari lodge was incredible and throughout our stay Sandra took a personal interest in ensuring our experience was going well.

We were looking for a safari in Sabi Sands and Sandra made us several offers. We decided for the one in the Elephant Plains lodge. Since we arrived ourselves, she created us a map how to get there (which is not possible by using Google maps only), she was always helpful during the planning. Apart from seeing the big 5 we had lots of other amazing wildlife encounters. The suite was absolutely beautiful and the food delicious.

My wife and I are glad we decided to trust this company with handling the logistics of planning a safari experience. We stayed in the Black Rhino Reserve area of Pilanesberg National park at the Tambuti Lodge for 5 days/4 nights as part of a larger 2 week trip to South Africa. In one straightforward booking process, private transfers from and to JNB airport and the lodge were organized, the stay itself booked, and covid testing required to return home to the U.S was scheduled. It was a pleasure working with our agent Sandra who checked in on us throughout our trip to ensure things were going smoothly. We will use them again when we next need to plan a safari in Africa.
