The Best Time Of Year To Visit Victoria Falls

To appreciate the full majesty of the Falls, the optimal time to visit is between February and May, as this is when the summer rains have fallen, and you’ll be able to view the biggest volume of water flowing.

Visitors who want to combine the Victoria Falls experience with optimal Big Five game viewing should look to travel during the dry period between June and August.

If you’re visiting in search of adventure you may be interested in the drier months of year – between September and December, when the lower water levels allow visitors to swim to the edge of the Falls in The Devil’s Pool.
