The camp is on an open floodplain surrounded by mopane and teak forests overlooking a waterhole.

Deteema Springs Camp is designed to blend in with the rock and bush which occur on this slight rise above the Deteema Springs in the northern region of Hwange National Park

Close to the Deteema dam, the camp is perched on a slight rocky rise above permanent water springs, offering magnificent views of large concentrations of animals, including elephants.

The tents are comfortable with all the facilities of a luxury camp, including hot and cold running water, flush toilet and decks.

The main area is tented on decks overlooks the Deteema Springs.

Davison’s Camp is in a 34000-hectare private concession in Hwange National Park.

The main area comprises a spacious lounge and dining area, leading onto an expansive deck with an open campfire area, perfect for convivial evening musings or star gazing.

The refreshing pool and its loungers are beautifully positioned for relaxation, while a small upper deck is an ideal location from which to watch wildlife at the waterhole.

All tents overlook an open plain and waterhole.

Camp Hwange overlooks a natural waterhole in the central of Hwange National Park.

Large, spacious thatched chalets offers ‘open-fronted’ views to the camp waterhole. Rooms are en-suite and a shaded patio provides an additional peaceful place to while away the midday.

Beds are covered by large mosquito nets and have overhead fans. All geysers, fans and lighting operate on solar power lowering our environmental footprint.
